Vijay Hingorani(VJ) - Director (Business Operations)
VJ is an Indian businessman from one of the prominent business and socially
active families of India.
He is based in Mumbai (the entertainment capital of India) and has
extensive experience working in Indian, US and European markets.
As a serial entrepreneur, who started his first business venture when he
was 19, he has been a founder and advisor to successfully managed companies in
the lifestyle, technology, fashion and entertainment sectors.
Born and raised in the the suburb of Bandra in Mumbai, he has been closely
associated with the trendy Bollywood industry.
VJ understands the entertainment industry both from the creative and business
aspect. He has the right blend of creative energy and business acumen, which
has led him to devise revenue generation models for both concept and
commercially viable entertainment projects, and also the distribution and
licensing of international television formats and foreign films in India.
Larry Berk, Chairman
Mr. Berk is a corporate finance specialist and money manager with over 30
years' experience working with New York Stock Exchange companies. He provides
strategic planning services to many top corporations around the world, and has
held executive positions with investment banking firms, including Oppenheimer
& Company, where he was a partner. Mr. Berk has directed over fifty
underwritings and private placements.
Mr. Berk is an active volunteer in both professional and community based
organizations. He is a founding member of the Financial Investment Analyst
Association and National Investment Bankers Association, an advisor to the
American Theater Wing, Tony Awards, a member of the Executive Council of New
York and President of the New York University, Stern School Executive
Mr. Berk has held many roles in the entertainment industry: he has produced
plays and has served as a member of the Board of the Actors Studio; was a
founding Chairman of the Veterans Ensemble Theatre, a group of writers,
directors, and actors who served in the Vietnam War; was on the Board of the
Association of American Dance Companies and was a trustee of Manhattan Theatre
Club. Mr. Berk has been referenced and quoted in numerous publications,
including, but not limited to, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal,
Barron's and South China Morning Post.
